The engineer’s resume should include information that is specific to the profession of Engineering. It is different from the other professional resume. Hence what works with other resume will not work well with the engineering resume.

However, the jobs which are not related directly to engineering can use the keywords such as ‘advisor’ or ‘specialist’.

·        For references you can either opt for writing “References available upon request” or write down the details of the references that you wish to give in your resume.

·        Explain your work history in detail. It should include the information about your experience in the related field. Include only that information which is relevant to the post you have applied for.

·        You should proof read the content of the resume and check for any spelling or grammar mistakes. The content of the resume should be error free.
